To meet the need to repair and restore houses and other buildings in the ancient town, in the first quarter of 2024, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation received and resolved 54 applications for restoring houses/historic buildings, including 19 applications in Zone I, 07 in Zone II-A and 28 in Zone II-B.

The People's Committee of Hoi An City and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province have just issued a document assigning the Hoi An Center for Management and Conservation of Cultural Heritage to prepare scientific records for the relic of Faifo Prison to rank at the provincial level.
