Implementing the World Cultural Heritage Management Plan of Hoi An Ancient Town for the period of 2020-2025, with a vision to 2030, on September 22, 2022, the Hoi An City People's Committee issued Decision No. 1355/QD-UB on the establishment of the Executive Board for the management of the Old Quarter and the Coordination Group for the implementation of the Plan.
On August 11, 2022, at the headquarters of Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation, a working session between Quang Nam People's Committee with the delegation of Capital Law led by Mr Le Hong Son, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee.
On September 23, 2020, Hoi An People's Committee issued Decision No. 2941/QD-UBND approving "The plan to survey and propose to restore some intangible cultural forms that have been lost or are in danger of being destroyed in Cham Island", in which, the City People's Committee assigned Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation to conduct a survey on lifestyle changes in Cham Island. The survey will be implemented in this August.
On August 4, 2022, following the direction of Hoi An City People's Committee, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation had a meeting and worked with the delegation of Academy of Politics Region II and III (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics) led by Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Dean of Faculty of Culture and Development, Academy of Politics Region II.
In French and American regime, Hoi An is the capital of Quang Nam province. So from the late of 19th century to March, 1975, there were provincial prisons established here, such as: Faifo prison (the early 20th century to August 1945), Thong Dang prison (1947-1960), Hoi An prison (1960 - March 1975).
On the morning of July 26, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation in collaboration with related departments handed over the house No. 154/2 Tran Phu, Minh An ward to local authorities for management.

On July 15, 2022, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation held Seminar "Preservation and promotion of traditional crafts and folk performance oriented towards a Hoi An creative city".
As one of activities of the Visit Vietnam Year 2022 hosted by Quang Nam under the theme of green tourism, exhibition "Vietnam's cultural heritage Space" has been held in Hoi An city from July 8 to 13, at An Hoi Sculpture Garden by cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and People's Committee of Quang Nam Province.

In the First Regional Traditional Craft Festival - Quang Nam 2022, held from May 19 to 22, the exhibition of Art Path "Traditional Craft - Heritage of the Central region" was introduced to the public at An Hoi Sculpture Garden, Hoi An City with many traditional crafts such as: brocade weaving (Dak Lak province and Tay Giang district, Quang Nam), ceramics making in Bat Trang village (Ha Noi), terra cotta making in Thanh Ha pottery village (Hoi An); sedge mat weaving in Nga Son (Thanh Hoa); bamboo knitting (Dong Thap), silk weaving (Duy Xuyen district).
