From October 24 to 25, 2024, in Tay Ninh province, Department of Cultural Heritage of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the 2024 Cultural Heritage training course and the Workshop "Cultural Heritage - Resources for Sustainable Development".
From October 7 to 12, 2024, the delegation of Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation, led by Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc - Director, had worked with the National Archives Center I, III, the French School of the Far East and the Institute of Han Nom Studies in the capital of Hanoi.
From November 29 to December 9, 2024, at Hoi An communal house (also known as Ong Voi Temple - No. 27 Le Loi street), a photo exhibition will take place with the content "World Cultural Heritage, Hoi An Ancient Town - 25 years of preserving and promoting values".

Recently, the Standing Committee of Hoi An City Party Committee has issued a document agreeing on the policy for Hoi An city to join the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC). Accordingly, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation is assigned to advise the City People's Committee on the procedures and regulartions for joining the OWHC network as a good standing member.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of UNESCO recognition of Hoi An Ancient Town as a World Cultural Heritage Site (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2024), with the approval of the Hoi An City People's Committee, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation will compile and publish the book "Hoi An Cultural Heritage - 25 years of preservation and promotion".
The Thien Cau dance (Thien Cau means “sacred dog”) is a typical folk performance in Hoi An, especially on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. This performance reflects cultural exchange marks in Hoi An ancient town which is used to be a bustling trading port in the history, as well expresses wishes for favorable weather and blessings of local residents.
From September 9-10, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize a training course to update knowledge and skills in foreign affairs for nearly 200 civil servants of agencies and localities in the province.
On the morning of August 23, 2024, at the office of Cam An Ward People's Committee, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation coordinated with local agencies to organize a session of community consultation for the restoration of the Nghia Trung Tomb, Thinh My quarter, Cam An ward. Local elders and people living near the area of relic and members of relic management board had attended the session.
On the occasion of the Traditional Craft Festival - Quang Nam 2024 taking place from August 28, 2024 to August 31, 2024, in Tam Ky city - Quang Nam province, many state agencies and entrepreneurs from Hoi An city will participate in and display craft products, OCOP products at the event.
In 2024, Quang Nam Museum has elaborated the plan for exploration of archaeological sites across the province. From May 02 to May 08, 2024, the agency has been implementing the plan in Hoi An city coordinated by Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation.
As part of a series of events celebrating the 10th anniversary of Trang An Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage (2014-2024), on April 27, 2024, People's Committee of Ninh Binh province organized the international scientific conference “Harnessing the role and value of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage – Trang An Landscape Complex in establishing the millennial city of heritage and connecting world heritage cities” at the International Conference Center of Bai Dinh Pagoda.
