With the purpose of collecting data to propose solutions to preserve and promote in the future, Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation will collect and evaluate various types of heritage related to folk knowledge about the islands of Cu Lao Cham in this April.
The folk knowledge expected to be collected and investigated includes: Knowledge about using forest materials to serve local life; knowledge about management, exploitation and use of water resources; knowledge of terrain, weather and climate awareness; knowledge of traditional medicine; culinary knowledge; folk knowledge about seafood exploitation; folk knowledge about collecting bird’s nest in Cu Lao Cham.
