Professor Tomoda Hiromichi, Showa Women's University has working sessions with professional staff of Hoi An Center

Professor Tomoda Hiromichi, former Head of the Institute of International Culture, Showa Women's University (Japan) is a Japanese expert who has tie relationship with Hoi An culture heritage for more than 30 years.
Over the past time, Professor Tomoda Hiromichi has made many great contributions to the research work linked to preservation and promotion of the value of the World Cultural Heritage, Hoi An Ancient Town.
Taking the opportunity of visiting Vietnam to attend the program celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hoi An Ancient Town being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage (December 4, 1999 - December 4, 2024), Professor Tomoda Hiromichi had some working sessions in the office of Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation. These sessions aimed to exchange, share information, train and transfer operating techniques of "Hoi An Metaverse Virtual Reality Interactive Software" and guide the development of the Geographic Information System - GIS for the Center's professional and technical staff.
The above technological products are the result of many dedicated researches by a team of experts from the Institute of International Culture, Showa Women's University and many Japanese experts, basing on the researches on architecture, history and culture of Hoi An by the Institute since 1992 and other sources of documents supported by Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation.
